It is 2025. What will it bring? It is fair to say that I have no idea.
Looking back, who would have thought that the stock market would be one of the best years? I did not. The S&P 500 soared 24%, making 2023-2024 the best 2 consecutive years since 1990s. I remember one year ago, I was just concerned about the high inflation, and thought if the stock market would do 12%, I would be happy.
Neither did I think bitcoin price will double and top $100,000.

I recall that there was a lot of anxiety about the uncertain path forward for the country and for the world: the trade war, the military war, the election, the new world order…
And yet, the US stock market still rallied. Who would have thought?
My point is that since the future cannot be predicted, or even expected, let us not dwell on trying to predict the future, or trying to read too much certainty from the present. Let’s embrace it. Admit that things will change, sometime slowly, other times suddenly.
Have an always-on-the-move mindset.
But also, enjoy the present moment. Because if we let it pass without savoring and appreciating it, then it will become the past.
I wish myself an excitement-filled 2025.
